In the conference on contemporary architecture today at MIPIM 2009 the main subjects were focused around the global financial crisis, adaptation to the new conditions and nearest future perspectives.
4 top architects were taking part in the conference: Zaha Hadid (London UK), Thom Mayne(LA USA), Wolf Prix (Vienna Austria) and due to the absence of invited Daniel Libeskind(NY USA), Frank Gehry (LA USA) was involved into the discussion.
Architects agree in the opinion that the current financial situation is both hard and challenging in terms of developing innovative approaches and responds to new living conditions throughout the World.
